Our daughter has spent her life rescuing animals. From baby raccoons found in a ditch on her way home from 4th grade, to rescuing horses, and now – dogs. Lots and lots of dogs. Sheβs always shown the love and patience it takes to welcome newcomers into whatever family of critters she was creating.
Her latest arrival – Poppy – has had some challenges fitting in with the rest of the pack. But Poppy has persisted, and Rachel has parented – gently, patiently. And judging by the latest kayaking pictures, new friends have become siblings and a new family is being born.
